CARPET & RUG CLEANING – DRY CLEAN (FOR SEAGRASS ETC.)

We vacuum to help remove dry soilage and debris. Stains are treated with a dry cleaning solution. Then we apply a dry granular compound and work into the pile with a brush, we then vacuum leaving the carpet fresh and clean.

This process is ideal for carpets with a woven backing such as the cotton straw type as they tend to have a high risk of shrinkage. Dries immediately!

CARPET & RUG CLEANING – WET CLEAN

Firstly we identify the carpet construction to establish which heat setting to use, a process similar to how your washing machine selects the best setting for your clothes. We vacuum to help remove all dry soliage and debris then spray with a degreaser and disinfectant to further loosen soilage and eliminate germs. All stains are then treated, then we use our
carpet cleaning machine to extract all dirt, dust and grime. This again leaves the carpet, clean, germ-free and bright. Drying times vary.

CARPETS & RUGS – STEAM CLEANING WITH HOT WATER EXTRACTION

A common misconception is that all carpets and furnishings are generally steam-cleaned. The heat generated from steam would damage most fabrics and carpets causing scald damage. Hot water extraction is the safest and most effective process. Though some carpets can withstand steam cleaning it is dependant on the overall construction and backing. We can advise you on the best method on inspection.

UPHOLSTERY CLEANING – WET CLEAN

Firstly we vacuum fabric to help remove dry soilage and debris. We further spray with degreaser and disinfectant to break down soilage and eliminate germs. Any remaining stains are pre-treated before cleaning with a correct water temperature for the fabric. We then deep clean with our specialist machines with a low pH cleaning powder treated with a conditioner to then remove all dirt and germs leaving your upholstery fabric looking clean, fresh and germ-free. Drying times vary.

CAR UPHOLSTERY – WET CLEAN

The same process applies as the upholstery cleaning as well as the dashboard with trims being polished and cleaning of door shuts, roof lining (subject to inspection), carpet mats and the boot. Drying times vary.

This process is used when colours are at risk of running or if shrinkage is likely to occur. This makes wet cleaning impractical. All dry soilage and debris is vacuumed. We then spray with a dry cleaning solvent-based solution to further loosen any remaining soilage. Stains are treated separately. Tassels and fringes are also cleaned. We give it a final vacuum and wipe with a micro-fibre cloth, leaving your fabrics looking colour-bright, clean and fresh.

SCOTCHGUARD STAIN PROTECTION

This provides a protective ‘coat’ treatment that provides soil and stain resistance to an array of items.

Water based
We use the famous tried and tested Scotchguard system for all water cleanable carpets, rugs, fabrics, some wool items, draylon and cotton. Drying time varies.

Solvent based
For all fine fabrics, rugs, curtains and some wool items. This provides a protective ‘coat’ treatment that provides soil and stain resistance to an array of items.

LEATHER CLEANING – WET CLEAN (FINISHED LEATHER)

Our concise 3 stage leather cleaning is one of the best on the market. We vacuum any loose debris and wet clean any fabric lining. We spray a solvent based cleaning solution with disinfectant and then work this into the leather. This breaks down dirt and soilage, ready to be dried off with sterile towels. The leather is then nourished with a cleaner and conditioner. The process is then completed with a concentrated conditioner which restores the original colour and prevents cracking.

LEATHER CLEANING (UNFINISHED LEATHER)

A special solution is used for unfinished leather, however the process is the same as finished leather cleaning. Please note that most stains are permanent as they tend to embed into leather itself. To easily identify unfinished leather place a wet cloth over an
inconspicuous area, it tends to leave a wet patch or water mark. Drying times vary.

MATTRESSES – WET CLEAN

We then spray with a dry cleaning solvent-based solution to further loosen any remaining soilage. Stains are treated separately. Tassels and fringes are also cleaned.
